I believe everyone should have the cake that shows their personality, likes, and most importantly be fresh and homemade.
I've always been creative. I have been told I was drawing since I could hold a pencil. During my childhood I spent a lot of time over at my Grandmas doing multiple crafts and projects. One thing we would do together is decorate cakes. If I wasn't at Grandmas I was at my Great Aunt Bessie's baking. I still remember making a little bread man and decorating him. Baking runs in the family.
Years later,2007 actually, I graduated from the University of South Dakota (Yote Pride!) with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. I got a job as a graphic designer but honestly my heart was not in it. At the same time my husbands, Jeff, birthday was right around the corner so I decided to dust off my cake decorating skills and make him his cake. Needless to say that's when I discovered my love for cake art as I like to call it and haven't stopped since!
I want to share my talent with you and create something special for whatever occasion you have! whether it's traditional or a custom design I'm up for the challenge because this is my passion.
